When you plan more, you panic less. Because there’s no way to know when an emergency will present itself, but there is a way to know exactly what to do if it does. Our 24/7 Emergency Support includes Safety Protocols for adverse events, so we’re always ready to contact the right folks at the right time.
With Quil, there’s more than one way to know help is on the way:
1. There are Safety Events triggered upon situations such as unusual activity, not back home, inactivity and awake too late. This will notify your Care Circle, and they can decide if action is needed.
2. You can use the Don’t Panic Button -an à la carte device you can buy separately- to alert our 24/7 Safety Team by just pressing on it.
Whichever you choose, here’s the plan: We text your Care Circle. If we don’t hear from anyone, or based on the event's severity, we’ll also contact our 24/7 Safety Team. They reach out to the Emergency Contacts you previously set up. If the Team can’t get a hold of them, they will engage the right emergency responders. We’ll always give you time to respond before escalating the situation. We have unique action plans ready to kick in for each event.
